Seattle Music Is Real: A Movement for Change, Opportunity, and Sound

Seattle Music Is Real, founded by Mr. Benjamin in 2021, is a bold, purpose-driven platform committed to being Anti-Violence, Anti-Gang, Anti-Gun, and Anti-Drug. Created to uplift and support local artists across Seattle and the greater Northeast region, the platform is redefining how the world sees the Seattle music scene.

Through local media, performances, radio, video shows, streaming platforms, the metaverse, and more, Seattle Music Is Real gives artists the opportunity to shine and show the world that Seattle’s talent is authentic and undeniable.  Mr. Benjamin, a former hip-hop artist himself, is deeply rooted in the local music community and has become a vital force in its development. Seattle Music Is Real operates under BJ&J Entertainment, which recently inked a partnership deal with Virgin Records — a move that opens doors for emerging talent looking for national and international exposure.  “I believe we have a powerful platform for Seattle’s local scene, giving artists major opportunities in a small market,” says Mr. Benjamin.
