Stakk Wittz: From Pain to Purpose, Seattle’s Next Up

My name is Stakk Wittz, and music has been a part of my life since the fourth grade. Whether it was band, orchestra, or just being a student of hip-hop, I’ve always been surrounded by sound. My uncle played drums for the legendary band W.A.R., and I grew up with a deep respect for the craft. But my biggest motivation came from the loss of my friend JuiceTheGod. Since then, Seattle Music Is Real has been the platform pushing me to elevate my artistry and perfect my craft.

I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and my music journey started young. What shaped me, though, was overcoming the hardest moment of my life—losing my best friend, Trevon McKoy, to gun violence. That pain still sits with me, but it fuels my purpose. I carry Stakk Team on my back because that was the brand we built together, and I refuse to let it fade.

My inspiration? God. Plain and simple. That’s who I look to in everything I do. When people hear my music, I want them to take away three things: I’m God-focused, money-motivated, and lyrically creative. Every bar I write, every track I drop—it’s all about leveling up and staying true to myself.

I’ve had some major moments in my career, but one of my proudest achievements so far is having my music video “Stakk Talk” featuring Maribased1 air on BET Jams. My creative process is simple: freestyle, write, record, mix, master, release, and perform. That’s the cycle, and I stick to it.

If I could work with any artist, it would have to be Nas. His storytelling, his lyricism—it’s legendary. That’s the level I aim for every time I step in the booth. Right now, I’m focused on pushing my latest album, SeaStakks, which dropped in early October. That’s where my energy is, and I’m making sure the world hears it.

Being an entrepreneur means no two days look the same. My mornings start early, my nights end late, and in between, it’s all about the grind. I give glory to God first, chase the bag, and invest in myself—my skills, my character, my future. Everything I do is about becoming the best version of myself.

Follow my journey and help me take Stakk Wittz to the top. This isn’t just music—it’s purpose.
